If you weren’t following me before on my old Tumblr space, i used to post reviews of movies that i’ve watched and loved. So, i decided to start doing some movie reviews again. Hopefully, you guys, my followers or not, learn to love the movies i’ve loved and watch the movies i’ve seen that made 2-hours of my time, worth-while.

This movie has a special place in my heart space. Even though the context of the movie wasn’t quite right. I still adored how Sienna Miller looked so much like Edie Sedgwick and how Guy Pearce looked exactly like Andy Warhol.
I am a huge fan of Edie Sedgwick…
Minus the huge amount of drugs she took which lead to her demise. But still i am a fan.

Andy Warhol: Just be yourself.
Edie Sedgwick: Well which one?

Don’t be jealous, Andy. He’s nothing like you. (Edie Sedgwick)
I went to a party once, and there was a palm reader there and when she looked at my had, she just froze. And i said to her “I know. My lifeline is broken. I know i won’t live past thirty.” (Edie Sedgwick)

Andy Warhol: I wonder if people are going to remember us?
Edie Sedgwick: What, when we’re dead?
Andy Warhol: Yeah.
Edie Sedgwick: Well, i think people will talk about how you changed the world.
Andy Warhol: I wonder what they’ll say about you… in your obituary. I like that word.
Edie Sedgwick: Nothing nice, I don’t think.
<p
>Andy Warhol: No no, come on. They’d say, “Edith Minturn Sedgwick: Beautiful artist and actress…
Edie Sedgwick: …and all around loon.
Andy Warhol: …Remembered for setting the world on fire…
Edie Sedgwick: …and escaping the clutches of her terrifying family…
Andy Warhol: …Made friends with everybody, and anybody…
Edie Sedgwick: …creating chaos and uproar wherever she went. Divorced as many times as she married, she leaves only good wishes behind.
Edie Sedgwick: That’s nice, isn’t it?

“Lady, you don’t know shit about shit.” (Billy Quinn)
The whole story is based on the rise and fall of Edie Sedgwick and her relationships with Andy Warhol and Bob Dylan.
But word of caution, don’t believe everything shown in the movie. Some parts of it was true, and some were not. If you want to get your facts straight you should watch the documentaries of Andy Warhol which are hard enough to find.
Mostly all reviews of this movie were bad. They didn’t like the movie at all. But i guess, people have different taste in anything and everything under the sun. I love this movie even though the story was quite wrong.
I loved how uncensored the sex, nudity and drugs were.
So, i practically gave you guys an overview of the movie through screenshots and quotations.
If it is your cup of tea. Then i recommend you to watch it. x
